DIANA Company was founded on April 30th, 1991, starting with a grocery store. In 1996 we opened our first factory in Râmnicu Vâlcea. A small meat factory with but fully aligned with the most modern production lines in Europe.

DIANA is today one of the top slaughterhouses in Romania, also occupies an important place among the meat producers, with 100% Romanian capital.

The freshness and quality of the meat, as well as the recipes used in the preparation and production of meat products, have undoubtedly attracted consumers looking for reliable products close to the taste of authentic Romanian dishes.

The main objective of our company is to assure the quality and safety standards of our products. DIANA has won consumer’s confidence also by implementing food quality and food safety management systems and subsequently by the recertification of them. As we speak DIANA is certified to ISO 22000:2018 (ISO
22003:2013) (Food Safety), ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and holds the highest standard of IFS Food (International Food Standard) Food Version 7, OCTOBER 2020, standard agreed by Food Business Forum “within the” Global Food Safety Initiative.” Over time, the company has maintained these certifications, constantly seeking to adapt to new customer requirements and align with the highest standards.
